Terms and conditions

All returned media is subject to a $32 minimum charge for shipping and handling, regardless of of carrier, and/or any alternative shipping arrangements. Arrangements can be made to pick up packages by appointment only - to avoid this fee.

There is no charge to evaluate media, if connector's must be re-soldered for the evaluation, there is minimum $45 fee, pre-paid before recovery attempt is made. Additional charges will apply upon successful recovery of data, depending upon time spent for recovery effort.

Damaged flash drives cannot be recovered if the board or chipset is damaged. Any delaminated surfaces, transistors, chips or any component beyond broken primary connectors are considered irrepairable.

Data is returned via external hard-drive, flash media, CD-ROM, or DVD for the cost of the media plus shipping. DVD and CD-ROM are $10 each. Other media pricing is based on market rate at time of return

All shipping and handling charges are in addition to any data recovery fees. You can arrange for download of data via FTP service, after full payment for services.

We do not store, archive, or maintain data for more than 30 days. Any and all components sent to DRE must be claimed after payment of invoices, within 30 days of arrival at DRE. All unclaimed items, drives, components become property of Data Recovery Experts after 30 days.
